The Gurin Company CEO and "Weakest Link" creator Phil Gurin has come up with new projects such as newly launched "Singing Bee", and other projects such as "Do You Trust Me?" and "Wanna Bet?" are in the works. He believes that picking up formats from different countries is the key in making an international hit TV show, as long as there is a clear idea presented. Gurin's various TV projects are described.

Granada International makes Life factual head

Granada International has hired Richard Life, formerly from Channel 4 International, as new head of factual programming. Life will take over the post of Mark Reynolds, who has transfer ed to BBC Worldwide. Life's responsibilities in his new post, and his professional background, are also discussed.
