Granada Media in Liverpool link-up
Article Abstract:
The Liverpool Football Club and Granada Media announced that Granada has taken a 9.9 percent equity stake in Liverpool FC for #22 million. The media company has acquired new shares created by Liverpool and chairman David Moored remains the majority shareholder in the club with 51.4 percent of the enlarged share capital. A Granada spokeperson said that ir was not buying a club but entering into a deal that makes it a partner in Liverpool's off-field activities
