Harker steps into top post for LNN
Article Abstract:
London News Network (LNN) has promoted Deputy Managing Director Denise Harker into its managing editor's office which had been left by Jeff Henry. Harker's new position will require her to develop a new approach to Carlton and LWT's aim to pursue a joint-venture with United Film & Television Productions. Harker joined LNN, which is a seven-day news and programme provider jointly owned by LWT and Carlton, as Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary when it was rolled out in 1992. Harker, who was promoted as deputy managing director of LNN in 1996, worked for 10 years as TVS Production's financial controller.
