Hunting for Fox
Article Abstract:
Rod Henwood is the 33-year-old managing director of Fox Kids Network (UK), following a few brief weeks as managing director of the Warner Channel UK. Time Warner's decision to abandon its strategy of launching an international network of channels was taken following its merger with Turner Broadcasting System and the new channel failed to broadcast. Henwood's plan for his new channel is to strengthen its schedule through image-building, global rebranding and cable distribution, a challenge which he relishes.

Article Abstract:
Broadcast magazine's sponsored Television and Young People scheme delegates at the 1997 Edinburgh International TV Festival are aware that the UK television industry is extremely competitive. However, they have ambitions of a successful career in television in areas including directing, producing and operating news cameras.
