ITV/C4 link up for joint DTT channel
Article Abstract:
Discussions are currently underway which could lead to Channel 4 and ITV launching a joint venture television channel on their digital terrestrial multiplex. Agreement has yet to be reached on the style and programming of the channel. The two concerns are also considering forming an alliance to buy film packages. This would make them more competitive with the BBC and Channel 5, which are thought to be looking to purchase film packages together.
