Laughing at middle-age rage
Article Abstract:
The idea for the comedy show "Freezing" on BBC2 came from director and co-producer Simon Curtis, after noticing the preponderance of ageism in the television broadcasting industry. The show is about two freelancers in their 40s who are suffering ageism in their professions. How the idea evolved and the major production challenges are also discussed.
