Bad news piles up for ITN
Article Abstract:
There is growing concern about ITV revenue as advertisers fail to invest as heavily in the pre-Christmas period as in previous years. The company could face shortfalls of 20-25 million pounds sterling, in sharp contrast to earlier concern about the ITV market being 'overheated.' Cost concerns could have a particular impact on ITN, the news service which has traditionally been at the centre of the ITV operations.
