The listening rank
Article Abstract:
The mid-1990s have been among the most turbulent in the history of radio broadcasting, with the launch of Independent National Radio eating into the market share of the established players. However, despite rising numbers of radio stations, the total radio audience is declining and consumers are no longer loyal to one or two stations. A table giving the ratings of radio networks between 1977 and 1995 is included.
