Showtime in New Orleans
Article Abstract:
The Siggraph a six-day commputer animation festival due to start in New Orleans, LA on Aug 3 1996, is expected to attract over 25k visitors. The Electronic Theatre will be the main feature and will display 486 movies from countries from all over the world, with the exception of the UK. The lack of UK entries has led to speculation that the UK is lagging behind in computer animation, but other observers think that the opportunities are not available and that the UK still has plenty of talent.
