Six million pounds sterling for C5 productions

Channel 5(C5) has added six million pounds sterling to their annual programming budget and plans to spend it on increasing audience share. The investment comes from C5's shareholders United Business Media(UBM) and majority shareholder RTL Group, who caused UBM to invest the extra money after being pressured.
