Television Corp. (TVC) has expanded from facilities in an effort to become a production company, and as of 6/30/00, its content generation made up 52% of its operating profit versus 43% the year before. Sunset and Vine and Mentorn are two of TVC's largest production companies, ranking 16th and 18th in the United Kingdom in terms of viewing share. Various financial data is provided for TVC as well as its production companies, including Sunset and Vine, Mentorn, Supercatz Promotions, Venner Television, Visions, and Molinare.

Television producers in the UK are actively searching for the new big television concept, while riding on the successful format of such shows as "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" In the U.S., the search is in less of a frenzy, with the four major networks currently producing successful programming based on European formats.
