Alastair Waddington, the senior international vice-president of production and development for TWI, is described as an enabler that is larger than life. Waddington has a successful track record of providing independent documentary contracts for ITV, and his task at hand is to transform TWI from being a sports specialist to producing more diverse programming.

Ofcom's blue-sky thinking

Public Service Broadcasting (PSB) in UK needs to be revamped. Ofcom feels the need for new public service providers to bring a radical change in PSB. Ofcom's plan for execution of the idea is discussed and the broadcasting industry's reaction to the idea is examined.
