Testing, testing
Article Abstract:
Family Channel Studios has seen considerable changes since its purchase by Flextech in Mar 1996, according to director Nigel Pickard. Most significantly, it is being transformed into Challenge TV. The new operation will retain the gameshows and competitions which were a familiar element of Family Channel, but will also be more daring, especially in terms of encouraging interactivity with audiences. It hopes to attract 2 million callers in 1997, and believes that it has a strong presence as a niche broadcaster.
