There is a growing demand from international buyers for formats that makes all the right moves as shows with interactive capability prove their worth in winning both audiences and extra profits for broadcaster. Programmes with well-thought-out interactive prepositions are simply more saleable because buyers believe they have a better chance of grabbing viewers' attention and securing extra revenues.

ITV has unveiled its new interactive TV show "Rock Rivals", a drama program in the style of "The X Factor" which lets viewers choose the ending by voting over the phone. BBC, Sky and C4 meanwhile agreed to show free content on online social network Bebo. The interactive TV efforts of these broadcasters, and Bebo's commissioned shows, are analyzed.
