Vision for sound
Article Abstract:
The UK sound facilities industry is a very competitive market although some directors do not considered it to be an important part of post-production work. Sound-for-picture studios mostly use digital technology in audio post-production. Sound studios can be rented on a hourly basis for upwards of 70 pounds sterling. Many sound companies specialize in the type work they undertake according to the competence of their equipment. Producers choose studios according to the skills of the workers and the service offered by the studio not the standard of technological equipment.
