October rejects reports of faked doc scenes
Article Abstract:
October Films has denied accusations by Nottingham City Council that it faked scenes in a documentary, which is entitled Staying Lost. The city council argued October Films staged scenes using children in the care of its social services department. Council members said the CCTV cameras in the city center were able to record evidence that the crew of October Films met with two kids and ask them to act a begging scene in another area. The documentary, which tells about homeless children in Nottingham, is being produced for Channel 4.
