A sense of place
Article Abstract:
The Tactical Survey System is a computer-based program that provides maps, schematics and images of various structural features of a building that would aid police officers and other first responders in an emergency. The Navy has conducted exercises dealing with a hostage situation to test the system's capability, and the Transportation Security Administration plans to use the system to "map" various aircraft to aid in training.
