ANGLICO/MLE
Article Abstract:
The future and the benefits of the air and naval gunfire liaison company (ANGLICO) and the Marine liaison element (MLE) to the Marine Corps are described. The recent emphasis on jointness and the apparent success of the US Air Force (USAF) teams in Afghanistan might give an opportunity to revive the ANGLICO, which was originally designed for jointness.

Article Abstract:
The terrorism cannot be won by military force alone, as it also requires the Marine Corps to win the hearts and minds of the people. The policies that govern the military action should be readdressed in order to influence the enemies with the riches of a better life and convince them that a peaceful life is valuable and very rewarding.
