Poland and international defense cooperation
Article Abstract:
The participation by the Polish soldiers in the NATO forces deployed in Kosovo, and in Albania underlined the nation's readiness to fulfill the duties resulting from the Washington Treaty. On entering into a new phase of defense planning in 2000 to cover the 2001-2006 periods, NATO invited Poland to take part in the realization of 180 objectives of the armed forces and their long-term requirements.
