Amid budget crunch, US Army promotes FCS
Article Abstract:
The US Army demonstrated Future Combat System (FCS) program to the media, which included hybrid engines to make wheeled armor vehicles less noisy, unmanned vehicles, automatic non-line-of-site launch systems (NLOS-LS), laser radar and others. In response to concerns regarding curtail of the $125-billion program, the US Army Chief of Staff did not elaborate and said that we do not have any secondary plans with regards to future cuts.
