Eurofighter passes "Supplement 2" milestone
Article Abstract:
Eurofighter GmbH, Eurojet GmbH and the NATO Eurofighter Management Agency (NETMA) have signed the so-called 'Supplement 2' fixed-price agreements that cover the first actual orders for the Eurofighter. The agreements convert the maximum prices as defined in the umbrella contracts into firm orders for a first tranche of 148 aircraft and 363 engines. More orders for the entire range of ground support equipment, spares, training aids and support are expected to be finalized over the next few months.
