CVF programme awaits Main Gate date

The representatives from the Aircraft Carrier Alliance, the contractors for the UK Royal Navy's Futu re Aircraft Carrier (CVF) programme, has stated that they could not set a new date for the programme's Main Gate. This milestone was initially set for end of 2003 but slipped due to an extension to the assessment phase and will not be taken until 2006.

UK government gives go-ahead for Royal Navy aircraft carrier build
