JI evolves to replace captured leaders
Article Abstract:
Jemaah Islamiyya (JI) is increasing its membership and support across Southeast Asia and is forming alliances with a variety of Jihadi and Muslim separatist groups in a bid to expand its reach. JI would attempt to exploit communal conflict in locations such as southern Mindanao and eastern Indonesia to blood these new recruits, validate their training and talent-spot for more promising terrorist operatives.

Algerians sentenced to 11 years for terrorist activities
Article Abstract:
Two Algerians were given 11-year jail sentences by a UK court for terrorist activities and concurrent seven years sentence for fraud. They were found guilty of being key players in a transnational credit card fraud, which generated more than $200,000 for terrorist purposes.
