Cambodian talks deadlocked

The Cambodian PeopleEs Party won the national elections but failed to form a coalition government, which has led to threatening security and stability in the country. The process of complex negotiations and political horse-trading that is a prelude to the formation of a new government is deadlocked as the three main parties argue over power-sharing arrangements.

China forges closer ties with Cambodia
Article Abstract:
China continues to foster relations with Cambodia, and to offer a variety of economic assistance. During a recent diplomatic visit by Chairman Li Peng, it is beleived that Cambodia asked for an additional $12 million in assistance and $48 million in loans.
