NATO's friendly force tracking (FFT) system is proving to be a key element of situational awareness in any military operation, and situational awareness is one of the most critical enablers, force multipliers, in modern warfare. The Alliance officials want to equip the future NATO Response Force (NRF) with FFT for whole spectrum of operations.

Einsatzfuhrungskommando: German joint-operations command heads far-reaching missions
Article Abstract:
Einsatzfuhrungskommando is the German operations command, which consists of 450 personnels of which 53 percent are from the army, 30 percent from the Luftwaffe, and 17 percent from the Navy. This German joint operation commands were involved in various far-reaching missions of Afghanistan.
