Counter-MANPADS systems entering flight tests
Article Abstract:
Two countermeasures systems, using a man-portable air-defense system (MANPADS) to protect the US civilian airline from the potential threat of a terrorist attack, which are selected by the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS), from Northrop Grumman Electronic SystemsE Defensive Systems Division and BAE Systems are ready to enter flight-testing is discussed.

Canadian Hornet upgrade enters final stage
