EFV moves into system design and development
Article Abstract:
The US Marine Corps will use two of the three prototypes of the Expeditionary Fighting Vehicles (EFV) as ballistic-protection test vehicles, which will withstand rigors as required. The vehicles, which have a crew of three, were made under the program development and risk reduction phase and is designed to carry a seventeen member reinforced squad that can dismount in thirteen seconds.
