The developed Coalition presence in Afghanistan have forced criminal and terrorist groups to adjust their tactics to ensure the security of core group members, while simultaneously finding innovative ways to engage in actions that support their main goals. The threats to civilian and military personnel and infrastructure in Afghanistan are examined.
