Crisis management - a fundamental security task: The NATO experience and Euro-Atlantic partnership

Crisis management is one of the NATO's fundamental security tasks, which involve both military and non-military measures to respond to a threat caused by political or armed conflict, technological incidents or natural disasters. The different types of the crisis management operations required for different types of crises are discussed.
