Maj. Gen Christian Frandsen, Commander, Danish Army Materiel Command
Article Abstract:
Maj Gen J Christian Frandsen, commander of the Danish Army Materiel Command, said changes in politics and global events have resulted in corresponding changes in the Danish Army. Frandsen added that these factors and the increasing costs of military equipment have forced Denmark to differentiate between high and low-priority units and reduce the number of soldiers. He believed that multinational programs can lead to cost savings by sharing development costs between individual countries.
