Eurofighter Typhoon scores first export success outside Europe with Saudi deal

Eurofighter Typhoon has struck its first export deal outside Europe with Saudi Arabia. Experts from Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) stated that the details of the deal would be announced in March 2006 but the reports suggest that the deal would involve a staged acquisition of aircraft and capabilities, including a complete support package and the buy-back of aircraft in the RSAF inventory.
