Navies around the world are devising various ways to counter the increasing threat caused by chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear weapons. The ships are yet to find the methods to fully counter the threat, and are relying on their weapon systems, maneuvering capability and stealth to get them far away from the impacting blast weapon as possible.

Sweden assesses stealth of the nation with Visby trials
Article Abstract:
The Swedish Defence Material Administration has accepted the first three vessels of the Visby class ships, one of the most advanced and stealthy corvettes in the word, 14 years after the programme, which started in 1993. The trials experiences of the three ships are examined.
