First experience with the new U 212A submarine

Lieutenant Commander Vito Lacerenza, Commanding Officer of a U 212A (Todaro) submarine of the Italian Navy, has described his experience with the new U 212A submarine and has compared it with the other submarines. He believes that the implementation of the AIP fuel cell system has helped in providing the U 212A with high endurance, versatility and operational performance.
