Ukraine turns to wheeled AFV variants
Article Abstract:
Ukraine is focusing on new-wheeled armoured fighting vehicles (AFV) like the 4x4 Dozor-B light armoured personnel carrier (APC) and the heavier 8x8 BTR-3E1 amphibious APC. The three-man Dozor-B powered by a Deutz BF 4M 1013 FC four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine is fitted with an NSVT 12.7 mm MG while the BTR-3E1 is fitted with an Shturm combat module.
