How to soldier: Heckler & Koch's HK416 upgrade tackles the M4 and M16

The limitations of existing M4A1 carbines and the high maintenance needs of the M16 have led the special operations users to seek other better options. Heckler & Koch (H&K) has proposed many modifications to improve the weapons accuracy, safety, maintenance and performance and has also developed HK416 that began operational use in combat in 2005 with several special operations units, which has successfully met all requirements.
