GE offers remote monitoring of Navy shipboard engines
Article Abstract:
GE Marine Engines has introduced and is offering to the US Navy a remote diagnostics system that can remotely monitor and provide early warning of potential problems in marine gas-turbine engines. A demonstration of the remote diagnostics system jointly with the Integrated Condition-Assessment System has been scheduled on board the Arleigh Burke-class Aegis guided- missile destroyer USS Donald Cook.
