Money problems: Tackling terrorist financiers in Sweden
Article Abstract:
Sweden has investigated many cases, including Al-Barakaat case and the controversial rendition by the CIA of two Egyptian citizens from Sweden to Cairo in December 2001, which has indicated that radical Islamist groups are using the country as a base for financing militant groups abroad. The cases adn efforts mde by the Swedish government to clamp down on terrorist financing is examined.
