No farp too far!
Article Abstract:
The overall success of I Marine Expeditionary Force (I MEF) combat operations was mainly due to the Marine Wing Support Group 37's (MWSG-37) aviation ground support given to Marine aviation units during Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). The MSWG acted conceptually as a Marine wing expeditionary group by supporting 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (3rd MAW) by bounding forward arming and refueling points (FARPs) every 40 to 50 kilometers.
