A rifle platoon commanderEs experiences while leading a platoon in combat during Operation IRAQI FREEDOM and the key factors that helped to ensure the mission was successful are presented. The lessons learnt while leading first platoon and the training and preparation required for the team commanders in order to prepare their platoons, which will be better trained and well equipped, are described.
