Protector converts for sea battle
Article Abstract:
Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace (Kongsberg, Norway) has launched a naval variant of its Protector family of remote weapon stations (RWS), known as Sea Protector that is designed to counter asymmetric threats and to enhance overall ship protection in the face of terrorism. The system can be installed on naval ships and patrol craft of any size, and particularly on larger-size surface combatants, it can be installed in either stand-alone or fully integrated configurations.

The next-generation Harris RF-300U Secure Personal Radio (SPR) has made its official debut at the Africa Aerospace and Defence 2006 exhibition staged at Cape Town in September 2006. The new SPR is offering the user longer-range encrypted communication and a personal area networking facility for data integration with soldier systems.
