'Quality health care at home and in combat'
Article Abstract:
The Army Medical Department has played an important role in decreasing the percentage of deaths due to battle wounds amongst the United States soldiers involved in Operation Iraqi Freedom. The success of the Army Medical Department in reducing the number of deaths due to battle wounds could be attributed to the latest technology, improved training for combat medics, training provided for giving resuscitative care, immediate evacuation of severe cases for treatment and the dedication and skill of the people involved in providing care.

Medics at war: World War II in Europe
Article Abstract:
The efforts taken by the medical support team for maintaining the health of the soldiers during World War II in Europe are described. The medics posted in Europe during the World War II contributed largely for the health of the soldiers but they themselves had to face battle casualties and wounds.
