Saab aims to plug operational holes with its new low-cost Maritime Security Vessel
Article Abstract:
Saab Systems has conceptualized a reconfigurable, multirole, cost-effective and flexible Maritime Security Vessel (MSV) that combines an auxiliary platform with a containerised 9LV Mk4 command-and-control system. The MSV is intended to operate in harbours, littorals and choke points to counter asymmetric threats to the maritime community.
