The protracted involvement of the U.S. in Iraq is neither resolving the post-war situation there nor the intensifying regional tensions, but it definitely is undermining America's global legitimacy and tarnishing its moral credentials. Therefore, the growing chaos in Iraq needs an urgent political solution along with a peaceful end to the Israeli-Palestine stand-off.
