Splav unguided air rockets debut with more powerful warheads
Article Abstract:
The Russian Splav Company has developed advanced versions of its family of S-8 and S-13 unguided air rockets. Although these versions are equipped with the same calibers as their original models, they come with a shorter rocket motor and a lighter rocket body, while the revised internal configurations enable larger and more powerful warheads, which include various types such as high-explosive, fragmentation, penetrating, fuel-air and jamming warheads.
