Successful evaluation points way to M4 stage of Mid-Life Update on EPAF F-16s
Article Abstract:
More than 300 Lockheed Martin F-16s operated by the five-nation European Participating Air Forces (EPAF) group would be upgraded with the latest M4 iteration of the incremental Mid-Life Update (MLU) programme during 2006-07. The fielding of this latest modification package, built around the M4 software release, follows the successful Operational Test & Evaluation (OT&E) of M4 by frontline pilots from the five nations from 20 March to 12 April.

Budget document discloses existence of secret US Air Force UAV programme
Article Abstract:
Lockheed Martin's Skunk Works is believed to be developing a high altitude, stealthy unmanned aircraft system (UAS) for the US Air Force (USAF) under a secret programme, funded with money taken from the terminated Joint Unmanned Combat Air System (J-UCAS) project in 2006. Sources suggest that the new unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is a relatively large aircraft with a wingspan of around 35 m and a 1,800 kg payload.
