The Air Force Caucus
Article Abstract:
The Air Force Caucus was formed by a group of former Air Force veterans who became legislators. It is the first group of its kind to be formed that focuses purely on Air Force issues. The organization has 19 members, each of whom has served either the Air Force or Air National Guard, and some of whom have had distinguished military careers. These members represent both major parties and come from all parts of the country. They function as the Air Force's lobbying arm for various proposals and projects, and express their views on the House floor, in hearings and other private legislative forums.
