The Body Composition Program: A proposal for change
Article Abstract:
A change is proposed to the Marine Corps Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Body Composition Program (BCP), which forces Marines on limited duty for an extended period of time to make a choice between facing a PFT while injured or being placed on the BCP. The Marine Corps Order (MCO) should be modified to stop making unrealistic demands on Marines, who risk aggravating injury through a PFT and might even harm their careers.
