Article Abstract:
Highlights of the Korean War, during December 1951, are presented. Peace talks at Panmunjom continued, but a stalemate developed. There were guerrilla actions in southwest Korea. The 1st Cavalry Division was assigned to XVI Corps in Japan, and withdrew from Korea.

Highlights of the Korean War , during April 1951, are presented. The month began with an advance of US troops to an area north of the 38th Parallel, and ended with Allied troops containing a massive spring offensive by Chinese troops.
