The Marine Corps has too much stuff

The US Marines are in need of new equipment, but there is also a need to introduce monitoring technologies that will keep track of equipment performance and availability. This system will help in the maintenance of proper equipment throughout the Corps.

The Marine Expeditionary Unit, that went to the Persian Gulf early in 2000, worked with a private company, Aquanetics Systems, to produce water-cooling units. Guidelines for working with commercial equipment manufacturers are presented.
