FSB seeks online powers
Article Abstract:
Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) wants to have the right to obtain information from Internet service providers (ISPs) without using a warrant. The intelligence agency is proposing the installation of an FSB-certified technology that will allow the agency to obtain the information it wants. Under the proposal, ISPs will pay for the installation of such a technology.
